  5. See? Told ya you picked a good series to go
  6. Just trying to narrow the verbiage. If a degree above normal is a torch then a degree below should be considered bone chilling.
  7. DT: “One cold front is located on the East Coast with a wave of LOW pressure bringing showers and storms with considerable coverage from southern and eastern GA. SC, NC VA, MD and DEL with lighter showers into PA NJ and NY. Note the strong LOW pressure area in southwest Quebec Canada and a reinforcing second cold front sweeping through the Great Lakes and the Midwest. Behind this front is a moderately strong Canadian HIGH pressure system that is going to bring in another picture perfect late August cooler than normal air mass for the Midwest and eventually the East Coast.”
  8. Looks near to slightly above normal on the highs? Nothing crazy hot. You seem testy. Finding a lot of EAB in your ash?
  9. Just got back from SC. It's incredible how great it feels back in the mountains. It was 80 degrees when I left and it's currently 73 here at the house. Had a low of 56 as well. Definitely feels like early Fall.
  10. Another loss for the AHATT Jamokes. Some torch to end August lolzzzz.
  11. 81 degrees with dewpoints in the 50s. We so deserve this!
  12. Sun popped (kinda) and the temperature with it. First time in days.
  13. The best one was the B-1, B-2, B-52 flying over escorted by a couple F-35. Now that's an expensive formation. Went right over my house, dog wasn't impressed.
  14. Two-plus years of eliminating funding, closing offices and firing experts has consequences.
  15. Today
  16. Was in northern Europe this weekend and had one of the most powerful storms I have seen in a while. It was equivalent to our Nor'easter. Barometric pressure below 29.00 inches and heavy rain with wind gusts between 40 and 70mph for hours. Numerous trees and branches down and numerous power outages.
  17. Looks like it just brushed by. Better than nothing i guess.
