Absolutely ridiculous that some INDOOR sporting events scheduled for today were postponed for this lol

Sorry to hear that. I can relate, had one fall on my house during the 5/15/18 severe outbreak. No fun but glad it sounds like you are ok but it makes a lasting not so fun memory. Best of luck with the repairs.

Good morning all from NM. Just had to share this shot of afternoon storms we encountered coming back from Santa Fe on the Rail Runner. The lightning was beautiful to see in this landscape. Got back to Albuquerque and beat another storm to get back to our house sit in Nob Hill before the skies opened up again.

At least MPO was able to drop below 40° this September. While still the 4th warmest monthly minimum for September, it was a little cooler than the last few years. JFK finished 2nd warmest on their minimum for September so far. Plenty of onshore flow this month keeping the mimimums up. Unremarkable winds down here so far. Max gust overnight 35 mph looks like it was 40 on the water. The storm has a bit more convection around the center today. I'm guessing peak winds for me this evening. Its biggest impacts will be ruining an entire weekend.
