Yes, speaking of the f****** devil, my windows are rattling at a crazy high frequency that i've never heard before.

A lot of times I feel like they're just hype.This one's pretty terrifying for me.

I'm not sure if it was isolated or if anyone picked it up tonight, but right around five o'clock, the temperature spiked about eight degrees in a few minutes while I was in dillsburg and the wind just came out of nowhere without warning. From the very first gust, it meant business out that way.

It’s really bad, for sure. Different than a normal wind event.

There were several trees that I could hear come down around forty minutes ago, and I saw several power flashes on a wild ride home from York Haven tonight with no shortage of road closures and trees down along the way. I've been hanging out down in my basement since I heard the first tree come down near my home. I'm not getting any of the wind protection tonight that i've talked about. This s***'s f****** b****.

Washington DC Metropolitan Region weather is not the same without you! Now, we have TWO standouts in this here sub: 1)George BM needs to make his forecasts; and 2)We need the Reaper back! Reapers do NOT retire. They live forever and REAP forever and do NOT get tired! And, they do NOT need to go lift weights in order to kill off depressionologists like myself. I may need reaped soon due to low 90s weather AGAIN in south central Texas in November and lack of George BM forecasts!

Cool story: about one month after I got my basic SKYWARN class (Mt. Holly WFO) we got this low topped, limited lightning line that blitzed through Philly. My home weather station recorded a 61 mph wind gust and it just totaled all of the sycamore trees in my neighborhood. Was the first time I ever witnessed such a thing.

These low reflectivity/high wind event fascinate me.
