Man, it's great to finally have some thunder and lightning, really makes it feel like summer.

Loads of trees on wires and houses reports in Brooklyn and Killingly. Tons of hail reports too.

Does anyone have a link to archived lightning data? Would be really interested to see a map of lightning strikes for the year.

Just caught the northern edge, heard thunder and got some decent rain but missed the brunt.

Got nailed pretty good here. Wind and lightning was impressive. Looks like some outages to start some peoples Fourth of July weekend’s . Lots of fireworks shows cancelled as well.

Ended up losing power here afterall. Son is unable to make it home, roads all blocked.

Just got blown off the golf course. Special weather state for 50 mph winds definitely verified. Lots of branches coming down, didn’t see any trees thankfully

While not a big thunder producer here (CTG strikes) the convergence zone that has set up across the Lehigh Valley has really produced in terms of rain. Today’s rain total is up to 1.38”. We are under a FFW which is a good call from Mt. Holly.
