  1. Past hour
  2. There’s nothing worse than no posts from anybody in SNE except a clown map showing a blue dot over a bear den in Templeton.
  3. Had to cave last night and put the AC on. Hopefully we're done with that nonsense. Last nights club ride was spectacularly warm with a beautiful shot of the harvest moon at our turn around spot. Sent from my SM-S921U using Tapatalk

    Winter 2025-26

Yes, too bad there isn't an X somewhere on the map pointing it out. Maybe over by Whistler, or the Canadian Rockies? Also, that is a terrible map for western md. 30-40"!!!
  5. The look one Liam Cohen’s face when he ran that in was hilarious. Reminded me of Steve Kerr’s face everytime Steph Curry throws up a ridiculous shot and it goes in.
  6. Today will be our last mild day before a strong cold front crosses from west to east starting later this evening. We should see a general 0.50" to 1.00" of rain before the rain ends tomorrow morning. The big news following the cold front will be sharply chillier temperatures arriving tomorrow afternoon and the potential for an unseasonably early frost or even a freeze by Friday morning. I will post the historical earliest, latest and average freeze dates for all available stations across the county in a separate post. Highs on Thursday look to remain in the 50's especially in the higher spots of the county. The unseasonable chill looks to continue through the upcoming weekend.

  8. Congratulations!! October is IMHO the best weather month to get married.....which is why I did just that! Enjoy!!
  9. We’ll see. Ground is bone dry so the rain is badly needed.
  10. Got lucky here and had a swath of the heavier rains train right through this area. Picked up a very much needed 1.01".
  11. Anyways I hope winter is serviceable and not 4-5 months of 40F and mud mixed in with the random clown maps from Ineedsnow at 3a.
  12. Also can start to see troughs digging more and the Synoptics starting to kick in. We transitioning.
  13. Gonna be warm and muggy so I’ll need it tonight.
  14. Water conservation measures announced in some localities as the reservoir levels get down to 70%. This has been a top 10 driest fall to fall period across the region. Nantucket has been one of the driest spots with the coastal storms getting suppressed to our south. https://www.wfsb.com/2025/10/03/bristol-mayor-announces-water-restrictions-amid-drought/?outputType=amp
  15. Yeah it is over . Maybe a humid holiday time period in December but not enough for AC usage
  16. Anyway…hopefully we get at least a half inch of rain here. People are really starting to lose their wells across the state.
  17. We got a little rain yesterday, enough to wet the surface, but then overnight a nice soak boosted my total to 0.60".
  18. I decided to dew it today . That’s a good point . That’s happened to me before and it’s triggering
  19. Same here, but not until the rain stops... may end up being this weekend. It actually ran a little yesterday, we have to keep the house below 75 for the chinchillas
