  1. Past hour
  2. Driving home tonight, I saw a -7° on the car thermometer. Brrrrr .
  3. Some serious eye candy at 318 hour of 0z GFS run….lol
  4. The band from Norris to Maynardville is expanding south and might sweep through here. 23 degrees.
  5. It's going to be supressed, and RIC/Bob Chill gets the brunt of it.
  6. Yeah dry air is a pain right now. Steady returns for an hour or more yet the humidity has dropped quite a bit. Nothing to worry about for now though I don't think. Would've just been a bonus. My NWS grid didn't even have accumulating snow til after 2-3 AM.
  7. Checked one last time- Nada. Moon is mostly obscured at least..
  8. Average of 3 inches. Hard to get a good measurement when it is coming a mini blizzard. Now I know why the birds were going crazy this morning.
  9. Another thing the RDPS has nailed down of somewhat importance is the PWAT values. (How much available moisture there is in the air). It’s been very consistent over the last 6 runs or so with this as well. If I had to pick a model that seems to be handling this storm the best right now, that would be it.
  10. The radar looks very scattered at the moment. I will be up in a few hours to see what's going on.
  11. Went into a light flurry lull for 30ish minsZ light snow has returned. 1/2 inch so far .
  12. Off topic here… but does anybody know of a good radar app for a fire tv?? .
  13. Are you crazy? You can’t sleep at a time like this. I never get any sleep and look at how I turned out.
  14. Off to bed. Hope the ground’s white in the morning. If not, oh well.
  15. Note how there’s a record that goes all the way back to 1639. For such an incredibly long period of record it’s almost unbelievable how 36 and 38 just obliterate everything else.
  16. Some returns over me the last 30ish minutes but nothing making it to the ground just yet
  17. Snow capital of the Triangle. Others have mistakenly called it NC. We know better but most don’t. .
