  2. There it is for Orange, Ulster, Dutchess, Putnam and to the northeast until 8pm.
  3. For today most of the action is West of us. WPC rainfall for Day one
  4. Just got the watch notification!!! This is why May 1st is called the start of severe weather season. So anyone who weenied that before take your weenie back
  5. I was unfortunately well aware of the temperature situation before that post. Back up to near 70° now
  6. How many other people are praying that tolland is the epicenter for rainfall???
  7. Yeah, anyone with gardening or ag interests needs to be watering regularly lately. We really could use a good 1-2" soaking. Soils here are dust dry down to 6-8" at least.
  8. that little cluster headed for Pittsfield is going to be a good wind producer
  9. first warning of the day in eastern NY same storm that was by Hunter a bit ago
  10. Hrrrrrr and NAM's are dry today with only some drips on the northwest fringe
  11. Onshore flow increasing on the south shore. The kiss of death for any convection later….
  12. The llvl flow is backed enough to where there could be a tornado is any cell remains discrete and can become mature enough. Dews are a bit low so LCL's are sky high so that will probably hinder this a bit but its something to watch for
  13. He's just angry he's going the way of the dinosaurs. Who watches TV anymore?
  14. Picked up .89 so far the first 3 days of this month.
  15. Good luck with these today western NE. As much as I’d like one, with all Planting and seed I’ve done recently it’s fine to miss. But only this one time
  16. Very sunny and warm today. 80F partly cloudy. Anyone want to pitch in for a GoFundMe for some rain?
  17. We try and try and try to tell em about apps https://x.com/ericfisher/status/1918704941637550323?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  18. Some locations are going to get several STEINS of rain...
  19. I have to fly to Germany on a business trip later this summer. Definitely planning to target this flight. Beats the heck out of the old 747’s that Lufthansa had been using for the route.
  20. It is pretty nice. Nothing better than building thunderstorm days. I wish they came without rain however.
  21. Should be, we're maximizing heating which is always critical when dealing with lower dews/marginal lapse rates. llvl lapse rates are quite steep from the heating and even 2-6km lapse rates getting at/above 7 C/KM...good indicator there should be some localized damaging wind gusts today.
