It looks like the WRF-NSSL has a similar solution to the NAM, WRF-ARW missed Knox but gets some light accumulating snow into NE TN. And then the WRF-FV3 says nope, rain for basically everyone. It would take some of the string out of having snow likely miss to our south Sunday if some part of our area can get accumulating snow on Friday night, at least maybe the Plateau or northeast valley

07-08 Nina was a parade of 8+ inch storms coming and melting off for me. So far, 25-26 Nina has been a parade of 3+ inch storms coming and melting off for me. I know which I'd rather have. But, the drum beat continues this weekend here. Should be a wintry period. Pulling for the NAM's outcome

Just too dang weak and positive tilted to throw enough precip back west. So frustrating… Also looks like the bigger runs this morning had a bit of a Pacific jet injection and that is trending down, so less overall moisture in the system.

End result still blows though. My point is we sometimes don’t know until late in the run
