  2. If I understand correctly, this is the monthly mean of avg high/low. Dec looks about right, maybe a tad cooler than I think it will be. Jan is right around freezing for i-95 and cooler points west, which is around average or a bit below. Feb as depicted would be the coldest in decades. Overdone probably

  6. Yep-I was questioning upton's forecast last night but they were spot on. Models had very little and I got another 2 inches of rain here (unwelcome at this point)

  10. I got 0.95" here last night. All this rain combined with the lack of heat is great for the romaine lettuce plants that I have out there now for the fall. They are taking off. I'm glad the next few days look great though -- we definitely could use a drying out period.

  13. This weekend turned out about as bad as you could draw up. Cloudy and crappy with absolutely no rain. What a waste. Some ponds around here have turned into mud with a puddle of water in the middle.
  14. Bridgeport picked up 1.44" (36.6 mm) of rain in the past hour. That is tied for its 5th heaviest hourly August rainfall. Today, it has picked up 2.35" (59.7 mm) of rain breaking its daily mark of 1.69" (42.9 mm) from 1970. 2.34" (59.4 mm) has fallen in the past two hours. Heavy rain has moved into New Haven.
