Looks like just under a tenth of an inch. Official tally in the morning. Certainly felt like more from my home office window but that’s how it goes sometimes. -
That last bit that came through the southern portions of the pioneer valley was totally garden variety.

Just think if you had just stayed home . Would have seen severe and saved $75 on gas
-
You could’ve just stayed home save 50 bucks and see the same thing

Not like this lol

Back in Springfield now. What a day…what a beautiful, fantastic, AWT type of day. This worked out to a T…perfectly. Saw so much lightning and thunder, drove through some of the most intense rain I’ve ever driven through (even had some strong winds)…totally forgot where we were at. But had to pull into a shopping plaza lot. Now getting more rain and lightning!!!

Lol. That's actually pretty crazy. It's been feast or (mostly) famine here for a while.

It will turn somewhat cooler with high temperatures returning to the upper 70s tomorrow and then middle 70s Sunday and Monday. Showers and thundershowers are possible tomorrow. Rainfall amounts should generally be light except where scattered locations see heavier thunderstorms. By the middle of the week, it will turn warmer with temperatures again rising into the 80s. The ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly was +0.8°C and the Region 3.4 anomaly was -0.1°C for the week centered around May 28. For the past six weeks, the ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly has averaged +0.17°C and the ENSO Region 3.4 anomaly has averaged -0.07°C. Neutral ENSO conditions will likely continue through at least mid summer. The SOI was -1.13 today. The preliminary Arctic Oscillation (AO) was +1.967 today.

We do this again tomorrow?

It's funny. Since the summer of 2023 I've had three months where I measured 7 or more inches of rain in a month (September 2023, August 2024 and May 2025)…. You of all posters beat my monthly rainfall totals for every one of those 3 months!

I’m just letting them suck the lyme back out of me at this point.

Hopefully with CC we are attracting more aggressive species from Florida

What do you think the reason is? This is the first time I’ve been bitten in many, many years .,And it’s way early in season
-
My left ear has 5 bites, not sure if they're from skeeters or those black flies.
-
How much did you wind up with?

It looks like some scattered storms are nearing the border this evening. The models are struggling with the various MCS possibilities over the next several days. The front seems to be meandering across the Virginia's and Eastern Kentucky currently. It's been a minute since we had some rain locally. -
Looks like another batch heading my way

On another level the last few nights. Stand still for 10 seconds and there’s 20 on you. I have bites on top of bites now.
