  1. Past hour
  2. 6Z euro trending west with Sunday event. I guess the GFS/AI’s were on to something!
  3. Few flakes started falling. Temp is not great but dew point is really low.
  4. 6z euro well west. Looks like machines may have won.
  5. And the Euro finally caves on Sunday's event...looks like some snow on Sunday with this and almost all of the other models on board for at least 1-3/2-4" from the coast through even a bit NW of 95.
  6. You nailed it Chuck, if it materializes. -2 to -4 AO signals are quite often precursors to significant winter weather events.
  7. Tapered back to flurries here. Line gaining some strength in western Va. Short term models have it intensifying about 10am.
  8. That was one helluva snowy run. Absolutely f’ing awesome
  9. Snow keeps backbuilding here, heard the plow going down the road....definitely wasnt expecting this much out of round 1, hope the good surprises continue. Will measure shortly, much looks like over an inch so far...27.0⁰ atm
  10. Edit that was total precip.. just Sunday is a Solid jump and bump up in qpf
  11. Echoes just started expanding over the area over the last 45 minutes. The returns overhead don't look bad but I don't have any snow hitting the ground yet where i'm at.
  12. Sounds like you’ve had your first cup of coffee. Good luck! May we all be snowpacked by Monday
  13. With all the operational runs showing a miss to the south, ensembles have yet to support them no matter which model is showing it.
  14. Still need the euro to make some money moves and the 12z runs to continue. Verbatim it’s a wet snow in many areas to start, probably a mix here for a few hours before paste then ending as fluff.
  15. I picked up close to 2 inches. Snow stuck to everything. Nice little surprise this morning. Waiting for a few squalls today.
  16. You’re funny. You’ve been declaring the La Niña dead and buried since December. Ever since you made your arrogant “You know the Niña is dead?” post just over a week ago, it’s been doing nothing but strengthening, strongest of the entire event actually….the SOI is up to almost +28 today, there was a big EWB, region 3.4 is still at -0.8C (dropped to -0.9C a few days ago) and it looks healthier than ever in region 3.4 on the new SST charts. Keep up the great work!
