  1. Past hour
  2. Felt here in Walpole, too....didn't feel like a quake, we had one two years ago and the ground rumbled and rolled..this was a bang without the shake, I thought a tree hit house...
  3. Tons of posts in the /r/boston subreddit about it, seems like it was heard/felt in a pretty widespread area. Shook my apartment in Melrose whatever it was. Thought it was thunder but nothing popped up on the radar.
  4. RI just may have had an earth quake. Reports coming in from all over of loud bang and ground shaking.
  5. Stratton Mountain summit snowfall about one week later than last year. This is very far south for 2 days to met Sumner.
  6. The wind has been impacting my daughter’s softball tournament. Gusts have been blowing dust around all day.
  7. Putting a warmer than normal spring behind us . Moving onto summer. Will it be Steiner or Dewey and stormy ? June looks to start off torched after the first 2 days . Long pants are not to be worn by anyone other than work , church or funerals until mid October at earliest.
  8. Great place wish I lived closer.
  9. Today’s CFS has a record high RONI starting in JAS and going through NDJ before dropping at a record quick pace to only 3rd highest in DJF. I’m talking about records for each respective 3 month period, not overall. On monthly basis, it has records Jul-Dec! But then Jan falls so fast that it is then 0.5 cooler than ‘83 and is only 6th warmest behind ‘83, ‘92, ‘98, ‘58, and ,’16. Feb also is 6th warmest with it a whopping 0.63 cooler than ‘92!
  10. As we get into the summer months lower elevation (<450 ft asl) areas of Chester County PA will see at least one heat wave (defined as 3 or more consecutive days with highs at 90 degrees or above) while the relatively higher ridge locations (>600 ft asl) only average a heat wave every couple of years or so. Below sorted by highest to lowest elevation is a ranking of all reporting stations since 2000 with their recorded heat waves. Our lowest elevation spot at Phoenixville averages a whopping two to four times the number of heat waves as almost all other locations across the county.

  13. Not too bad. 63 breezy partly sunny
  14. He didn’t lose…it’s even worse than everyone thought. In the 30’s on 5/30 during the heat of the day. Shorts Weather said nobody ever.
  15. Shorts are fine today - if you are staying inside and the heat is on.
  16. Honestly one of it not the worst weather days in my 53 years relative to time of year
  17. There was wind elsewhere? I mean we maybe gusted to 20?
  18. Can see MWN and Lafayette ridgeline glowing from over here. Love how fast it cleared up.
  19. Today
  20. Went from 80% to 50% to 20% today. Looks like all the storms are south of us.
