Yeah... look, as recently as 2008, there was something like 6-10" of pretty much busting positive snow some random Tuesday afternoon up here over interior/eastern zones, and what transpire on the grid-locked roads, serious caused a 5 hour commute for some people trying to drive 15 miles. It was a dense burst of 3"/hr rates, into one of those micro-transient cultural vibes of obliviousness like you described was going on with 1978's morning hours of laissez-faire coffee and crumpet business as usual attitudes. Little off topic. Just watched Bernie Rayno's 2nd video after the Euro came out. He may no longer do videos due to some negative responses on X. People need to chill and value his input. He even said, once the storm is over or any storm for that matter, he will take criticism, but even still, people need to respond in a professional way. All meteorologists take heat and rarely get praise when they nail a storm. I'd say the same for Steve DiMartino, he put his neck out there a week ago calling no storm and has since back tracked. Like I told my kids when they were young, if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all
