  1. Past hour
  2. A few remnant showers may survive into S CT and Long Island overnight. Associated QPF is light outside any convective maxima, generally under a tenth of an inch, especially east of the Hudson
  3. That thunder was outrageous! Some of the biggest booms amd bangs I can ever remember.
  4. Soaking rain in the bronx over a half inch and still raining more to come Saturday
  5. Looking at guidance even nyc will be half way to ave by the 6th. Approaching .5" tonight more Saturday
  6. I never said nyc. Eastern pa, nw new Jersey and se ny west of Hudson. He posted north east drought conditions. many of these areas will be over September ave by Sunday morning hence he didn't look at short term guidance
  7. Normal rainfall for NYC in September is 3.7 inches, which didn’t happen tonight. Nor did tonight even make so much as a dent in the big long term deficit (most important) since August 1st
  8. Today
  9. I ended up with 2.3 inches after more rain through around 7:30.
  10. I cherish the one time I got reaped. Never felt better. Almost better than if I ever got to hang out with Ashley B. Its really a cryin shame WxWeather007 retired. Reapers never retire. But then, we all know this winter is gonnabe like '13-'14 and '09-'10 in one unbelievably Brobdingnagian frigid incredibly snowy winter, right into late April in DCA.
  11. Shortening days I think is what does it, but cooling temps don't hurt. Man I miss those leaf colors so much. All leaves do in Texas is turn brown like a Thanksgiving turkey.
  12. Eagles will crush the Cowboys. MD will get crushed by heavy snow.
  13. 1 to 3" of rain tonight from eastern pa thru se ny. Most of these areas will probably see a wetter than normal September. More Saturday i guess he didn't look at short term guidance
  14. A few small downpours did come through here after midnight. I'm up to 0.62" for the event now. Pretty good.
  15. 0Z: -The UKMET is again too weak with the low to classify it as a TD. -The 0Z CMC is similar to the GFS in being further S than its prior run and is close to the 0Z GFS as of 144.
  16. Monsoon here in Monmouth county. Absolutely dumping
  17. The Gulf storm and the storm ahead of Invest 91L/likely future Gabby may end up being one and the same for all we know now.
  18. So many times Kyle Texas steals all of our rightful rain. They'd get 3 inches of torrential rain then I get home to Buda, 7 miles north and frackin' NADA. Everything is brown as a Thanksgiving turkey. I am getting sick as ebola of this damn drought. You know whats the worst part? No hope for hurricanes in the western gulf of mexico. Not with that brobdingnagian semipermanent trough in the East. It's never gonna rain again in Buda. I am almost out of water. At the rate this is going, I am soon gonnabe forced to drink my damn piss just to survive like Bear Grylls in Africa.
  19. What I means is assuming 91l takes gabby Does the gulf storm form before or after the storm behind gabby
  20. No we won't. Panic Room will close down in despair while everyone in the Mid Atlantic has a sore back from shoveling too much deep snow.
  21. Disgusting behavior tonight by Jalen Carter. And to cap it off he laughed at himself. Most people in most jobs get fired for that kind of stuff. I hope he gets suspended for a long time.
  22. 0.7" here, gladly take it. Been a mix of light to moderate rain, with some brief, but torrential downpours as well.
  23. Definitely overperforming tonight here in Warren County, NJ. Closing in on 2 and a half inches in Hackettstown and still coming down. Much needed rain.
  24. I can’t stand how over-cautious they are with modern weather delays, and I say that as a weather enthusiast.
  25. Looks like a run of the mill summer t-storm on radar. Lightning producing in this front isn’t unusual.
