  12. Might be bitternut hickory? We’ve had a bunch of those dropping out in the back usually starting around mid summer and going right through early fall. I always see squirrels and deer gobbling up the little nuggets at the odd ends of the day. Plus they hurt like hell if you’ve ever happen to stumble on one of those! edit: does this one look similar? (Took this a couple years back)
  13. That's about sustainment rain. We really need some surplus rains. The reservoirs up in Baltimore County are getting quite low.

  20. From what I know about Ninos it’s not common for there to be a -NAO and SER linkage in them. Plus what @CAPE mentioned is very true—not really a -NAO signal as it’s smoothed out over 3 months.
  21. December 2015 somehow had it but that was a product of a wild raging MJO through 3-4-5 if I recall right, December El Ninos do tend to be warm but its rarely due to an SER
  22. It looks pretty damn close to current reality at initialization, and then evolves to more of basin wide event as winter progresses. Who's to say it doesn't have the right idea? And yes, Chuck- -PNA
  23. I'm sensing some difficulties with this deal. Proceed with caution.
