Anyone saying definitively what next winter has in store is just dumb. So many were calling for a warm winter this year and it felt like we were living in the arctic for 3 months. We cant even get a forecast right 2 weeks out let alone 9 months...also great winters tend to come in consecutively. So my money would be on another A winter next year.

Proximity to the ocean and the southerly wind only got my station up to 69 today.

Cell north of Burlington Iowa is getting it's act together very quickly.

Let us hope this does not happen this summer!

Was forecast to be near 70 but the back door cool front co ck blocked temp potential, and only made it to 56.

Addition sups are firing just south of the warm from from north-central IL back into southeastern IA.

It was incredible. I bought a new ATV right before the snow. I was dying to ride it. Kept waiting and waiting and when March arrived I thought I'd give it a go. Buried it after about 10 ft. By the time I shoveled it out it looked like it was down in a pit. I wish I had a picture.

Up here where the flizzard gave us 6” I was able to get some yard work done today. I cleared the “wooded” side of my driveway. Cut down 2 bushes. Ripped out 3 stumps and began the winter limb pile.

The Pontiac cell definitely, before it gets dark. It’s kinda far from the radar right now. Hard to tell what’s happening on the surface.

I get that Ray that's why I thought it was a good forecast. Not an A+ here but damn good for my first Maine winter.

Very strong -QBO and high solar is a dead-ringer for +TNH....that crap about solar max always being warm is BS....solar max and conspire with certain stratospheric set ups to facilitate some of the most consistently cold regimes possible.
