  1. Past hour
  2. Man HRRR is insistent we make it to 20" here in the city.
  3. Had a lull down to just light snow for a couple hours but really picking back in the past 30 minutes. Great snow growth and drier than earlier. 7.8" Board cleared. Measure again around 7am.
  4. Gives hope we can at least salvage 12-20 BOS-PVD and southeast
  5. Finally beginning to see some rates compensate for the marginal temp layers and strong winds here on barnegat bay. Didnt anticipate staying awake long enough to watch it happen, but I wanted to see where the deform band was going to set up to the west. Also embracing an extra day off from my daily winter gig. Final Thoughts : I've seen plenty of inside/on/outside benchmark systems roll through over the years. This is an interesting one, that will warrant plenty of post-storm analysis from mets that know farrrr more than my anecdotal-mind is capable of understanding. Ill spare everyone my rant about modern "modelology," but would hope to see a moderator consider opening a thread to discuss the GFS performance for the current system. The "lock" was early, persistent, and unwavering. I like to gove credit where it is do, especially when the signal was picked up at an impressive lead time. I hope everyone has a great night, stays safe, and has an opportunity to put work aside to enjoy the important things tomorrow. Be well.
  6. Yup. Exactly. But IT GETS WORSE!!! I Left NYC for this because My Home was the Jackpot by almost every model… And LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!?!? This is the ULTIMATE INDIGNATION!!
  7. 5.5 here ,,,,,,in New City,,,,,,,,for now,,,,,,,,,,that is all
  8. I think we’ve got a real shot or two in March whether we want them or not. Trackable, at least.
  9. I should have chased in Falmouth! Stayed in Greenfield and got some shit done but damn! What a storm for the Cape. Several folks here told me to go.
  10. it's like folks turn blinders on to what is happening, and give zero f****
  11. 9.0 inches of snow on 2/22 brings our seasonal total to 40.1"
  12. As of 12:00 am measured 9.0". Snow depth is 14". Temp/dp is 30.2/29.5. Snow of varying intensity, mostly light to moderate since then. It's windy, but well short of blizzard criteria on both wind and viz.
  13. 4z HRRR. More to come. I was trying nap and was woken up by thundersnow. 0% shot I’m sleeping now if this is even 60-70% correct up this way
  14. Still doing pretty darn good out here. It was actually less than 36 minutes . I realize that you're not down in New cumberland anymore, but hopefully you can add some on too.
  15. Anyone keeping eyes on tide gauges?! Unless I'm crazy, one out here on orient is getting very close to minor stage already and high tide isn't till 4 am!
  16. Total dud so far. Cannot shake the dry air and it appears to be continuing to eat upstream echos
  17. Exactly. Anyway, the boss just put the hammer down and told me to stop pacing around talking to myself. I’m so ashamed
