But when Kev's wife is around, some blocking develops around the Davis Straight....of the co*k variety...
-
Those Ditty parties are wild. Especially when he brings out the oak dongs.
-
Sounds like he makes his Davis Straight.

Central PA Spring 2025
Itstrainingtime replied to canderson's topic in Upstate New York/Pennsylvania
Finished with 1.49" of rainfall. After going over 8 months without a single 1" rainfall event, I've now had several over the past few weeks. -
This is actually just the busy stretch. I don’t have any tournaments between June 12 and August 5.

He has that effect on some guys

51 down here... but we're sneaking a d-slope drying enough that some sun splashes are showing up on vis and ground truth
-
Well, that tends to happen this time of year with the long days and plants/trees all active. And ofc the perpetual wind.

What is time period definition for daily forecasted temperatures - Day, Night, Hi, Lo, Evening, Overnight? What is the time period for these temperatures for a given "day"? For instance at my location in Michigan, the low temperature for the 24 hour period from 12am to 12am defined as that official "day" usually occurs around 6am of that "day". Is the "Low" forecasted temperature the temperature from 6am of the 12am to 12am period defined for that official day? Or is the "Low" forecasted temperature actually the lowest temperature from the morning of the next official "day" typically around 6am ("overnight low??"). I have been using Weather.com so I would like to know what their definitions are but also want to know how all the major reporting channels define these.

You're dealing with pinheads dude. We have to be careful when writing/saying turn of phrase like that, because when dealing with narrow minded people, they always ...in fact, seldom ever do, get the nuance and humor, and think too literally like a robot: oh, this person recommends a deadly disease over sun screen. yeah, in that simplistic interpretation ... you can see why they are polarizing. haha Stupidity of that caliber is literally, not merely figuratively, an issue/problem in the masses - we've breached a critical dipshit threshold of bulk "density" ( pun intended-) where the denigration of 'public intellect' is also nearing state of inducing social collapse. The expression of "weaponizing ignorance" ... it never really should be able to do so in the first place. We can get into why the epidemic of dumb fuck drooling nimrodery and cave-man fear -induced line toeing, and believing manipulation tactics because of that idiocracy we've found the U.S. in a state of... has seized control, but I think this run on sentence is plenty LOL

There’s a few in there that are controversial. But you know how it goes. Some studies say bad…some say inconclusive. Some experts say bad…some say don’t worry. I’m an au naturel guy so I try to avoid most chemicals to begin with. There’s a lot we don’t know about the body and long term effects so I don’t normally like to be preaching too much. Everyone has to do their own research and make the best choices for themselves. MAHA and RFK can f off though.

I'm not surprised. The ground is still drying pretty quickly given how much rain we've received.
-
I have a beach tent I use when I go to the beach and still get enough sun even sitting underneath it.
-
Yeah best spring ever. Loving those warm lows at midnight and muted daytime highs.
-
You should really try to get out more.

I was just wondering which chemical in it were unhealthy and why....if you know offhand, great...otherwise I am sure I can look it up.

We evolved with the sun. We need the sun. We need to make that vitamin D. But it’s just a matter of not overdoing it. Killing skin cells isn’t good. I would wear it if I had to be in the sun for awhile…beach, game, etc. I used to laugh at those tanning beds that claimed you could get a tan without a burn. They’re essentially just UVA. The wavelengths are longer and go deeper into your skin versus UVB. The UVB does faster damage to the surface skin, but your body quickly gets the signal and tells you to gtfo of the sun. The UVA is different and leads to a lot of those deeper melanoma cases. That’s why truck drivers get skin cancer on their left side often…the side window glass blocks UVB but not UVA.

We can still get cutoffs into mid June-just won't be 48-52, more like 55-57...

5.45 Duxbury. Most of state of massachusetts shellfish beds shut down . Luckily we harvested yesterday for mem day weekend business.

Don't have to worry about sunburn when you wear layers!

I’ll gladly where the sunscreen after watching my mom have a chunk taken out of her face and my dad out of his arm. It was painful and invasive. Weve truly gone off the rails in this country where people can’t wear sunscreen without it being a discussion
