Honestly it's not a summer day if it's not 80 or higher. I fully expect every day in the core of summer to at a bare minimum reach 80 degrees. Today I had to wear a jacket summer is clearly over lol. I've always thought we should move Memorial Day weekend to the first week of June and Labor Day weekend to the last week of August.

They confirmed a tornado in Lincoln Park, like 3 miles N of me. It was a brief EF-0. It was crazy driving through the area because it such a small area but the tree damage stood out like a sore thumb. There were scattered trees down everywhere but the lincoln park tornado the tree massacre was noticeable. This was the 2nd tornado in Lincoln Park this year, the other an EF-1 April 15th. Can never recall one so close.

Ok.. I was under the impression that it was cooler here and cooler in the Rockies. Was just going on memory. I've seen it make some pretty bad short term forecasts the last 2 Summers though. And it was about 2,000 miles off on where the El Nino would be centered, based in the last few months.

The raw generated data is not publicly available. The easiest way is thru the TWC app for your town or city. It is rapid update hourly and sometimes is off the wall but it nailed the details Friday and Saturday.

The Os don't do to much on the field very well. **** Sub par defense **** low batting averages **** below average bull pen **** crap situational hitting. They definitely do less with more talent. Watching them today, it's a real shit show. Errors, getting picked off the bases. 74/52 very comfortable. Sitting right on the edge of the lake breeze boundary pushing through, so likely it’s the high for the day. leaves progressing. Peak on average at my location is around September 25th - October 4th.

1972 screwed everyone in the mid atl and NE...so not counting that one, 2016 is the only intense El Niño that totally boned me.

I want the prospect of history to loom, and I only had that for a couple of days last year, which ended up going unfulfilled. Say what you want about the temps, but we should have plenty of drama next year....hell, even 2024 and 1997 I salvaged some incredible events.

TBH, I would prefer one 30"er to last season...I know I am probably in the minority on that, but only that latter January event was noteworthy in my neck of the woods....rest of the events were lame as fu(k....especially the blizzard that gave a guidance lap dance for a couple of days before taking off with the bouncer.

On average....but I don't have to tell you we just need to time one or two correctly to salvage a redeemable season.
