    The storm's core has shifted a few times, though it appears the strongest winds were on the south side of Mullica Hill and moving into Pitman as well as adjacent townships.

    still no severe watch issued even though radar is showing storms and individual warnings southwest of us along with Flash Flood Warnings

    Rooting for this little guy (girl?) in the near future for sure. It’s almost certainly headed the way of the dodo but every now and then a storm is able to persist against a hostile environment. Currently she’s producing just barely enough convection to survive

    The storm over Wilmington was about to move towards Philadelphia, but it has taken a right turn and will now move through Gloucester county. Certainly some spin indicated down near Auburn and Woodstown in Salem county.

    Had that here too but also heard some rumbles of thunder as a few of the showers passed.

    While the minimum departures were a little warmer relative to the maxes, the average highs were still warmer than what is normal even using the warmest 1991-2020 climate normals period. I agree that it felt cooler relative to the heat that we had earlier in the summer. This has largely followed the 2020s summer pattern of major heat early on followed by heavy rains.

    2015 not far off, either.....likely also at least somewhat related to the residual MC influence we have discussed.
