Looks like our area averaged out will finish around the 15th warmest first half of fall. The most impressive warmth has been to our west. This theme looks to continue for the next 10 days.

Was a nasty 2-3 day stretch for the area.  We had ours the day prior.  Same, no hail but winds were something else.  No power for just shy of 4 days.  Thankful for the Generac!

we already hit 80 for the last a week or 2 ago until next spring we will not hit 80 in central  park with the rain coming

All the models had scattered showers and clouds today. The highs in many areas will probably be in the next hour. Seeing several 80° readings with the clearing in NJ now.

my son had today off he went out around 10:15-perfect day for it.    A little shower around 12:30 but nothing they couldn't play through

Usually when the POPS are 20% or less they leave it off the point and clicks. But they will include it in the SFT. Today had only 10s or 20s on the POPS on the SFT.

Very nice!  I was driving home from NY at like noon and hit a super heavy downpour at the NY/NJ border on 287.  Could barely see for a few minutes.

Got hit with that in Oakland. Of course I cracked my car windows in the morning before heading into the office. Threw my back out sprinting to the car in the rain to close them. Drenched AND in pain.

Instead of asking if it will hit 80 degrees again before March 2027, we should be asking "Is there a month between now and March 2027 where it won't hit 80 degrees?"
