DVN issued a flood watch for tonight, but models have shifted south again (has been recent theme).  I may get little or even nothing.

Same here. Along the shore is 2 weeks later than inland. Mid Oct here, with early Oct peak inland. Maples go first, and should be peaking in a about 10 days or so inland.

The models showing the heaviest rains along and south of I-80 were wrong.  Only picked up 0.25" here.  QC had a few rain drops.

Yeah, the CAMs struggled to figure out where the storms would fire.  The RRFS was by far the worst.  Up until bedtime it had southeast Iowa getting hit.  I was hoping I wouldn't get missed south, but instead most of it went north.  I caught the southern edge of the band and finished with a solid 1.06".  There were some nice boomers, too.

0.06" from a batch of shwrs that moved through last night. Looks like a nice Fall day with highs around 70 on a light SW wind.

Picked up 0.99” overnight. Most rain we’ve had since the end of July and nearly doubling our August-September total so far. Glad to have it.

Last September we had <0.50" for the whole month, so this year is much wetter.  Sitting at 2.76 for the month already here.

4.49" on the east side of Huntington since around 10 PM Tuesday evening, 5.11" for the month. I believe that average for FWA for Sept. is only around 3.1".

Looks like a stubborn Lake breeze for most of the rest of this month with little or no rain on tap. Basically 60/45 temps on tap here in town.

Low of 36 overnight here at the house.  Sawyer made it to 32 which is the first freezing temp for the airport this season. Fired up the wood stove to take the chill out of the house.  It's officially Fall.
