cyclone77
The corn fields have really started to brown up over the past week or so. Evapotranspiration from the corn crop is very quickly crapping out.

Low on the 90s maybe but a lot of mid-upper 80s with nasty dews and 70+low temperature readings this summer. ++Departures galore

Torchageddon
I was surprised how hot I was out there even briefly walking, a blister. I suppose my body isn't used to it again as I haven't needed the AC for nearly 3 weeks! TWN hitting hard on the severe threat here in SON tomorrow, the most sig of the summer by far (of course, its now Sept). For the first I've seen they even put out a updraft helicity map from an unknown output: https://www.theweathernetwork.com/en/news/weather/forecasts/damaging-winds-severe-storms-to-hit-southern-ontario-midweek

Torchageddon
Storm cells nearby racing at uncommon speeds this nox (overnight). Nice MCS hitting Barrie coming in from the SE. I'm at least 50 min drive from the nearest current cell and I can see tepid lightning already no thunder. This setup I can already tell is juiced as hell; 23C/22C DP that is seriously impressive for nox on Sept 2! EC put us under a svr watch for hail up to golf balls and 90 km/h winds. I've had basically zip for real storms all summer. They danced around me only giving thunder and heavy downpours. Its fun seeing how my main summer months now for years are absent of anything - its all in the shoulder months like March, April, and late summer like now. OrdIowPitMsp
90/56 yesterday, oppressive dews return today and look to stick around for awhile. 0.04” rain overnight. Drought begets drought
weatherbo
A nice slug of showers and storms over N WI and the S UP early this morning missing all but the far southern tip of MQT County. Otherwise, clearing skies on tap with a high in the upper 70's. Should be a really nice day with dews in the upper 50's to 60.
