Chinook
It's so nice to cool down, with lower dew points. a high of 77, and a low of 53 for Toledo, makes for an avergae of 8 degrees F below normal for the day It's starting to feel exactly like those perfect September days, that is, the days with much lower amounts of air conditioning needed.

IWXwx
Picked up 1.31" in 45 minutes from a t-storm as the cool front moved through last evening, taking our month's total to 10.67". The grass is supposed to be brown and dormant around here in late August. This having to mow every five days sucks, but my garden appreciates it.
weatherbo
Should be a nice breezy day in the upper 60's w/ lows tonight in the low 40's. Not much rain materialized over the past several days, It's pretty dry. I've had a hummingbird feeding frenzy for about 2-3 weeks then seemingly overnight they're gone. I'll leave the feeders up another week or two for stragglers. Sure sign that summer is over in the northland.

Could be a decent streak of 70s to close out the summer season for you guys in the UP. Maybe even one last 80. The Annual SEP Torch spares no one! even monster Nino falls stand no chance against the greater overall pattern shift towards warm and mild falls. No need to rush winter but I do consider summer over up here September 1st regardless of temps. Leaves are well on their way, sun goes behind the trees on the hill mid afternoon. The look and feel of summer has faded. 1

Colors may be less robust unless we get good rains coming up.
