The same pitcher back in June against the O's that went 6 scoreless innings, gave up 1 hit and 1 walk and struck out 8. Prior to that game he had 7 strikeouts all season.

Case in point, the bases were loaded, 2 out. The Angels pitcher couldn't throw a strike, back to back walks and a HBP. So what does Jackson Holliday do? Swings at the very first pitch into a weak ground ball. 

There is no way he should have been first pitch swinging. Make that guy throw strikes.

Sad thing is it looks like Elias gets a second chance at a rebuild, albeit maybe a minor rebuild 

He's definitely coming back. He's operated at the deadline like he's absolutely coming back.

I'd be shocked if he's not back.

Rubenstein seems like he's happy with Elias and Elias will continue to install puppet managers. You'll never see a veteran manager brought in as long as Elias is in charge.

I understand why they traded Adley and it was probably the right move if your not going to sign him to a longer term deal but, man Elias really thinks the fans are stupid with the BS he puts out there during his press conferences.

The manager has to go too. He kisses gas lighter Elias' ass, and is just not a legit manager. His actions prove it. Clean house. Problem is its becoming more evident the owner doesnt have a clue.

What two starters did they move... The only one I remember that was moved was Kremer. But yes... we were told that we would be buyers.

I wouldn't give up on an Elias firing just yet. Rubenstein claims he wants to win--actually he reiterated in a Banner article today about what he considers the great owner:

“The truly great owners, in my view, don’t pay as much attention to the bottom line financially,” Rubenstein said. “They’re not worried about a million dollars here or there. They want to win, they want to do it as a matter of civic pride, and they want to feel that they’ve delivered something to the town they’re representing.”

Now if...IF he truly means that, then maybe there's a small chance some of his Elias comments are PR (I'm almost sure the comments at the Bradish presser are since Elias was sitting right there, lol) So to me it's not out of the realm of possibilities.
