Mikeymac5306
Ditto with the lightning. Most I have seen in quite a while. Looks like another line is coming down but its headed more toward Lancaster.
SouthernNJ
Reports indicate a substantial number of downed trees in Mantua and Harrison townships. The residents there did not have much indication of this approaching, as it occurred behind the main line of storms. A warning was only issued as the damaging winds were in progress. TPHL had a good view of the downbursts at 8:58 PM.

I will add that several warnings have verified with good lead times. https://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/cow/?syear=2026&smonth=9&sday=1&shour=12&eyear=2026&emonth=9&eday=2&ehour=12&wfo=PHI&hail=1.00&lsrbuffer=15&warnbuffer=0.01&wind=58&wtype[]=TO&wtype[]=SV<ype[]=T<ype[]=D<ype[]=H<ype[]=G
Lady Di
Last night was pretty intense but not as bad as NJ. Lost internet and power restored after an hour or so. Glad I could run the AC until lost power again early this morning and no info on when it will be back on. Pretty sure an outlet blew. Heard it pop. Thought at first TV got fired but plugged it into another outlet and it's fine. I'm done with this stuff.
Mikeymac5306
Could be an interesting lunchtime should this blob of whatever coming of Lake Eire survives the mountains. Couple of tornado warned cells mixed in it.
soadforecasterx
I don't think the issue will be the mountains. Issue will be the atmosphere, its completely zapped from yesterday storms and with cloud cover its not going to get any better.

The issue is going to be that MCS in central PA, that's going to completely work over the atmosphere. The clouds should burn off by late morning, but that complex will arrive sometime between 1 and 2 on its current trajectory. Maybe a couple severe warnings but that's going to limit the severe for everyone. Even SPC isn't sure though as the best forcing doesn't arrive until way later. This day was always going to be about how the next MCS forms out west.
BBasile
Short video from last night. It was a 4 minute video that I condensed down to 1 minute. Wicked.
