I am really encouraged by the trend on the last few GEFS runs. Continues to bring the cluster of lows closer to the coast and decrease the spread of the members. Great to see at this range.

AIFS might be better, more snow for us, but the fact that Boston gets a big snow tells me that the synoptics are a LOT better

WB 0Z GEFS members several nice hits but also still a lot of misses.

The big takeaway of the Euro AI is that, while snowfall isn't great, Boston gets a blizzard. That means the synoptics are MUCH BETTER.

It started off better but that piece of energy over the great lakes ended up farther south which doesn’t allow for the amplification we need to have this thing climb the coast.
