Interesting event down here. Figured I was done for the day around 1pm when if looked like dry air was shutting down accum rates. Getting a nice burst of steady light snow and vis back under a mile. Not sure how long it will last but might be able to add to the 2".

Hey former Rockviian,

I think you good for a few more hours at least.  Returns look good to your south.

I can't even explain how awful it feels.

It's an evil radar loop. I feel for ya. Been through some incredible busts and march 2013 still haunts me to this day.

Looks like the coastal bands are finally going to push into RDU. I hope a deform band sets up and parks over your yard.

thank you because right now I am not sure I will get over this one otherwise. I am glad I chased earlier to the Triad for a bit though.

reports of 6-12 inches just 50 miles to my south

current total: 0.2"

oh well

I was so close:lol:

Models definitely got the crazy gradient idea right. I'm surprised you got less than an inch. I'm prob 30 miles south of you as a crow flies and I'm at 2.5".  Still snowing so I may be able to add to that but the end is near. I'm curious what Martinsburg and Chatham end up with.

We actually ended up with 4 inches where I am in Raleigh . Could have been worse for sure. The meme game is strong though:

lol, I was in Raleigh this weekend for wife’s treatment at Duke on Monday. I guess I brought the Haymarket resistor with me. I’m sorry Raleigh. That dry slot was unbelievable, but it finally broke down and we got near 3 inches.

I would be so mad if I was in that RDU dryslot

Even though we got a few inches at the end I am still mad about it. It is a once in 20+ year opportunity blown. I really can't get excited about any other events unless they are big enough to make up for it.

it was bad but it could have been way worse, like some people thought you guys wouldn't get any snow with that dry slot
