Hearing some pingers, but still primarily snow.

Had some rimmed snow against the window just now. Sounded like small sleet.  Probably not long for the window based on the sleet line on the radar but it’s ripping snow right now.

Never underestimate the mid level warm air push in these storms. Even the 2021 blizzard had the sleet line precariously close to the LV when no models showed that.

I'd be interested to see how exactly we go above freezing -- saw some models hinting at it.

It's 13F-15F currently across most areas. I don't think we go above 28F, but never underestimate surface-level warmth.

If we go over to rain with these temperatures, it'll be a disaster.

NAM the first to show the warm surge (or was it actually the cmc?). In any event, nam never wavered.

I just did it; about 6" here, my battery snow thrower just about met its match but got it done in one go.  I liked the suggestion to not do it too close to the flip, else 2nd go is all ice.  bottom layer of snow makes it manageable... at this rate, if flip doesn't happen until 1 or 2 we probably get about a foot in montco.  feels that way to me at least

Just drove from Nazareth to East Stroudsburg. 6.5 inches up here Temp keeps dropping in East Stroudsburg down to 5°.

Just reached 6" here, still snowing nicely, but expect sleet any minute now. Really hoping we can avoid freezing rain. Currently 15°F.

As of 11am snow total for the day at 7.5" with 1.8" in last hour.

Still heavy snow but sleet should be here by noon I suspect - current temp is up to 10.2 degrees
