its almost time to begin watching radars and other surface reports to   determine if they are matching up with various guidance - if there was ever a time to do it it would be prior and during these borderline events

The Euro ideas down in SC/GA aloft have never budged much the last 48 hours...it was always a bit too dry down there as were many other models.  I have been on the train of be wary in GA/SC even back as far as ATL/GSP to see this thing make a late push back NW.  Eric Webb has been pumping that idea on X too.

That's a 100+ mile QPF field shift in 24 hours by the Euro, looking at the 0.1" line for Sunday's event and it's a ~200 mile shift in the 0.5" QPF line (maybe as much of being more amped as a "move" but that's the result). Getting close to the AI models and the snowier globals.

Yep it's coming in line with the AI models. Coast could get plowable snow

Yup. I don't get why all the focus is on Sunday, when there is a more imminent threat of snow from late tonight thru Saturday?

Mt. Holly has just issued a WWA for their part of northern and western NJ and NE PA for 2-4” of snow.

The NWS is focused on the threat for Saturday with the advisories that have just been issued.  Model support for the Saturday event is greater than the potential one for Sunday.
