Yeah from Suffolk on east should do very well. It’s a shame thouhh NYC and points west. This thing is hauling fast. Never believe dryslots will fill in. HRRR does that every time.

From Brick NJ imby got about a half inch of ice, no snow yet, and it’s back and forth between freezing rain and sleet, I’m less then a mile from the ocean, forecast has us warming to 37+ degrees by 3AM so looking like a washout later on.

Just left work from Old Bridge and Rt18 is terrible, there’s about an inch or so of mix up there

Enough sleet to sled with my son - that’s a win. Other than that one of the worst modeled and forecasted storm I can remember. I knew there would be precip type issues but there wasn’t one model that had me getting less THAN .40 QPF. Most are .6-.8. I maybe saw .20” max

That is impossible. This thing is done. Most section will be done snowing by 10 PM. Already just plain old clouds over Sussex county. That’s not a dry slot. That’s the storm itself. And it’s done

Ok cool. See ya next storm

Eyeballing my deck gives me about an inch of snow and sleet. (Sleet is much slicker than snow for sledding)

Sometimes you get the bear, sometimes the bear gets you.

The NAM and ECM were pretty spotty with 0.2 - 0.4" by 2z. They didn't have it completely right but they had the general idea of heaviest precip well north and east.

Can you nudge it west a bit?  TIA.

this has got to be one of the biggest busts in this area in years; i'm thinking not quite as bad as jan 2007, where there was a heavy snow warning and nothing happened at all..... but this was bad for our area. worst in a decade or more. it's barely a car topper, jfc.....there ain't nothing filling in here; this thing is done out here.

Try to smile. It’s all out of our control.
