Snow here..came out of nowhere..And you guys worry about 10 day forecasts lol..when they can't even get tomorrow right

Well, that's what i'm saying. It's like I say, how inaccurate things are.And I get harp going for it, I don't want to be wrong, but we can't even rely on a forecast for the next day.Or for this day today, they mentioned nothing about any local forecasts.Maybe a model picked up on it, but none of the weather forecasters actually pointed that out

At 5:20pm it continues to snow lightly, but no longer accumulating.  Just mood flakes...except I can't see them anymore...lol.  I measured 0.8" in total new snow.  Temperature has leveled off at 19.8 degrees.  I love how crystalline the new snow is when it falls at these cold temperatures.  My flashlight was reflecting back from the snow.  I'll go melt the snow down once it has 100% ended.  Perhaps it will be upwards of 15:1?  We'll see.

The Euro is the only model that I could find that had it at 12z just as @mitchnick mentioned a little earlier.

CTP had a 20% chance of a snow shower.

Even a special weather statement for the LSV would have been nice especially with it hitting at rush hour.

I-81 was crawling & road conditions were not great. My normal 15 minute commute was more than doubled.

Oh wow nice. Not nearly that much here but you could see it diminishing quickly on the radar as it worked its way east so not surprising.

I had a burst of big dendrites that added up quickly. I was watching the band diminish as it moved east and was fortunate to maximize it.

makes you wonder none of the local forecasts mentioned it. they said it was going to clear up this afternoon nothing about even clouds let alone a night shot of snow.
