Any concerns about us losing a couple of hours to rain or mix? With precip moving in during the early evening hours, you and me are likely going to be at least several degrees above freezing.

Just saw this but no. Dew points low enough to offset and surface warmth. Worst case a pinger or 2. Looks like it’s on our doorstep now. Saw a lonely flake or two an hour ago.

Passing an inch here with steady light to moderate. Roads covered and 29ºF.

Next couple hours are going to make or break the event here I think in terms of whether I can score a solid advisory event. Some of the better enhanced banding over Pittsburgh should translate over this way in that timeframe. Downsloping hasn’t been too much of an issue so far here being right against the Allegheny Front.

Should also note starting to see the enhancement of the precip in the Sus Valley as well on CTP and LWX radar.

We've been under fairly high radar returns all evening in Dauphin County, but having trouble sticking still with warm temperatures still hovering around 32-33°F.

This was my concern this morning. Despite having snow and sleet falling for the past 90 minutes it is just now starting to accumulate. Temp is still above freezing at 33.

sadly it did get to 40 today but only because it was sunny for a time after the clouds rolled in last night. it was supposed to be cloudy all day but did hit that 40 and making hard for anything to stick in my area wet roads sidewalks atm.

The storm is on track for a solid Advisory event for the majority of the LSV.

Agree 100%. I still firmly believe I will do well. The perfectionist in me is frustrated that I'm losing precip to warm temps. I still have completely wet roads and just a slushy coating on the grass.
