One more day and we'll be back where we were last Sunday, before the snow. It's been awesome having some snow on the ground (beyond piles) for 6 weeks now! Not heat deflectors, a couple of boxes and a wheelbarrow. We have used a windbreak/heat deflector behind us to cut down on a cold breeze hitting your back, but that's about it Eta: 18°F is about our low end, then it's kind of like "why?" when we can go inside and be warm, lol.
Birds~69
Cooling down quickly, 35f. Lots of melting during the day, freezing stuff at night going on. Watch your steps early in the morning. Still have mounds in parking lots 6 to 10 ft....
Mikeymac5306 Posted yesterday at 01:10 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:10 AM Upper 70's in Vegas last week. Was expecting a good chunk of the snow from Sunday melted when I got back Friday but not all of it. All that's left now is the parking lot icebergs that may not go away for another month or so. Hope everyone is well. Solid A grade for this Winter. If you are a fan what else could you ask for?
ChescoWx
We will see well below average temperatures both today and tomorrow before we see about a 10-day period of well above normal temperatures. We turn colder again around the 13th of March. Some southern areas could see some light snow developing this afternoon with snow spreading northbound across the rest of the area after 1am. Expect to see some Winter Weather Advisories issued later for many areas N and W of Philly. Any snow will change to freezing rain and then all rain by no later than about 10am on Tuesday. It could be a slippery commute in spots. For the rest of the week, we warm to well above normal temperatures with solid changes of needed rain for most days with the exception of Friday. The Iceman
Probably the last night or two with partial snow cover. Remarkable that we’ve had cover since 1/16. 45 days. Highly unlikely we make 50 with the rain and temps the next few days but still a month and a half straight of snow cover here. Another rarity around here. 3
Kevin Reilly
32f humidity 79% dew point 26f sleet freezing rain a few darting snow flakes. Last flakes of the year possibly. slight sleet accumulation on cars at the moment. You can tell this will not last long and should be rain very soon. I was out on the roads there are no weather related issues in central Delaware County. Roads loaded with salt too.
