Well as expected, that initial line completely broke up and fizzled as it passed over me, so got nada.   I still ran out to put some fall fertilizer on the plants in case I get some kind of rain to get it watered in.

Currently overcast with breaks of sun and 83 with dp 75.  I did see the ST Watch up -

Got zero. Zilch. Nada from that prefrontal line but YAY for this current round that has been doing a slow soak since just before midnight.  The "heavier" (in quotes) rates have come after 3 am, going as high as about 0.50"/hr but averaging in the 0.10 -0.30" per hour range.

Currently have light - moderate rain, with temp 61, dp 61, and 0.49" in the bucket.

Picked up an additional 0.65" of light and steady rain since the thunderstorms yesterday.  Sitting at 1.70" right now with a small amount left to go.   Very beneficial rainfall, finally!

Edit:  So much for "small amount."  Up to 2.20", now, with some more to come.

Drought guy wrong again. I've been drought free since March 5.

what are talking about?  The drought ended back in July for the LV.  Hell, I had 2.5 in of rain two days ago at my house. I would be more worried about us having a neutral winter this year  and record cold  come mid December . Enjoy your Halloween as the frigid air will come back near Thanksgiving this winter with more nor'easter chances.

And it looks like the front has moved the band to coastal NJ and it's starting to clear here, with the sun trying to pop in and out.  The rain gods gave me an extended, much needed soaking, with nothing over around 0.5"/hr.  Ended up with 0.87" in the bucket for today, so along with the 0.01" just before midnight, I have a 2-day event total of 0.88".

Currently 68 and clearing, with dp 63.
