Pretty good.

I've been seeing a lot of specialists and undergoing a lot of tests. Most everything I've had done to this point has come back favorably. I do have a heart issue, likely hereditary that will need to be addressed at some point. Mainly due to that, I've (we including my wife) have made some significant dietary changes. Today marks exactly 2 months since I first went into the ER (just realized that as I write this) and over the past 60 days I've lost 27 pounds and I feel SO much better. Back to the heart, the issue that will need addressed is my aortic valve, the good news is that it's in much better shape than originally feared. I was originally diagnosed with "moderate stenosis" but after further testing, blood work, etc. it is now considered "minimal."

My recent blood work and vitals were probably the best numbers I've had since I was a young adult. BP is fantastic, Cholesterol is good. I probably exercise slightly more than I did prior to all of this but just changing what I put into my system is paying off. I can't stress enough how important it is to eat good, healthy foods. Veggies, nuts, fruits...and lean meats. No eating after supper. No, or very little in the way of sugary drinks.

It matters.

Sorry for late reply, i wasn't on until now. Sounds like you're on the mend. Glad to hear. Diet is key, along with exercise. i have found that Good supplements is a bonus in addition to diet and exercise. I'd rather take supplements the pharmaceuticals.

I feel better now than I did before all of this started. I'm on a mission. Lots of places I want to visit yet.

Hi all...

Just popping in with my current data.  My official station has hit 99.3 degrees back at 3:13 and is now 98.6 with a dew point of 75.5 degrees and a heat index of 113 degrees.  My backup station which is located about 15 feet away is currently 99.7 degrees after hitting a high of 100.2 and a current dew point of 75.7.  This combination is producing a heat index of 114 degrees.  The 100.2 now breaks last year's highest temp of 100.0 degrees by 0.2 degrees.  It's horrible out!!

I'll be back with final numbers this evening.  Stay cool...
