Topped out at 100.8 and my gosh it was hot. Our heat index cracked 110 as well which was higher than forecast. I know this doesn’t count but 15 min into my drive (not from being parked) from work back home the car thermometer hit 104 several times on 440 near the 64 exit before dropping to 100 in my neighborhood which aligned with my station at the time. Tomorrow looks worse, UNCLE

As of 2:20 pm we have cracked 100 at my house. Currently 99.9 but we hit 100.1 a short time ago. Likely to max out a bit higher given it’s only 2:30. RDU record today was 99 I’m sure that gets erased

Surprisingly RDU "only" hit 100 today, which tied the record.

I do think the flash drought last year affected RDUs readings significantly. This summer my station has been in almost lockstep with RDU and it hasn’t been an outlier in central NC like last year. We hit 100.8 which actually was slightly above RDU’s 100 yesterday

Yeah RDU is not an outlier right now.

Topped out at 98.6 which was probably only limited by cloud cover. Still managed a heat index of 114 which was the second highest I’ve ever recorded here, slightly behind last year

I topped out at exactly 97.9 today held down by the cloud cover.  Got  to 98.6.  My PWS registered a DP of 84.9 ° at 3:00 PM today, with a HI of 127.6.  That seems suspect but perhaps not completely out of the realm of possibility given that our soil is still quite moist from the 8+ inches of rain we got last week.

Edit: Looking at the NWS site, it appears RWI was "only" measuring a DP of 73 ° at 2:53 PM so my 84.9 readings seems unrealistic.  Still, it's dang humid.
