What caught me off guard today is the humidity...despite the dark clouds and rainfall, it's sticky!

How ‘bout it. Dews look to stay stuck in the 60s all week and perhaps even pop to near 70 briefly on Friday. Hopefully some relief on the way by late in the day on Saturday, before setting up for a beautiful Sunday.

Today you have a Dr visit right? Hope you get some answers.

I sure did - I have several additional appointments to schedule with different groups for different issues, but the bottom line is that I have a plan in place now and working on specific items. I feel optimistic going forward.

Good memory, by the way. :) I'm impressed!

That’s fantastic - having a feeling of opportunist times is so good!

Cumberland, MD is a disaster right now.

I wonder how this will play out ? Looking at the radar things could start looking a little better or much worse for them soon . I don't know much about this system, but it's clear there are a lot of dynamics at play for them  just by simply looking at the radar. The pivot like motion and training could keep Cumberland under that heavier stuff for a while.

1-4 inches of rain fell across south central PA in the last 24 hours. As a result, inundation and small stream flooding is occurring with some secondary road closures being reported in a few locations. The Youghiogheny River at Confluence and the Aughwick Creek at Shirleysburg have reached minor flood stage. Rain showers and a few thunderstorms with locally heavy downpours will continue at times through Saturday, but we do not expect any more complete washout days like yesterday (Tuesday 5/13). River levels will gradually recede over the next few days, but the additional rainfall will keep streamflows elevated into the weekend. 5/14/25|604am
