Dang that's pretty cool. Although Haywood is always usually cooler than surrounding areas.

Cataloochee Ski Area announced today that they are planning to open Saturday (November 20th). 

Saw that Sugar Mountain was open yesterday; snow cover is looking more sparse today;  the upcoming cool down should get ski season going nicely.

Already down to 40.6° here. Wouldn't be surprised to see flakes mixing in soon.

Sounds like a perfect night for a lunar eclipse. Gonna have to bundle up for this one. Winds gusting to near 40 in Boone already but calm here at the house.
