Maaaaaybe an inch here last night.

Nickel and diming our way to perhaps 50% of average? Lol

Ugh....really thought the band  would have been a touch stronger and about 7 miles south. I guess it boiled down to shear,  and my invalidated thoughts that the weaker winds would have favored more of a shoreline convergence zone...i.e....further south..

Oh well on to the next!

Just under 2 inches here overnight.  That’s about a third of what I was hoping for. We got the scraps from the southern end of the band as it spread out over land. It looks like the band is set up over central Oswego County and we may get a few flurries from it during the day.

An inch of fluff. I'm about ready for this winter to end. Getting missed in all directions gets tiresome.

Apparently Phoenix and Central Square school districts to the north closed.

Enjoy another sunny day!

Nice. The giant fluffers are the best. Enjoy!

Winds should start backing WSW in the next few hours.. Rgem has this band drying up pretty good.. This evening a new band should get going and drop south relatively quickly..

Close to what I just recorded.

It's a beautiful, cold, sunny morning! So we have that going for us. Which is nice!

All of upstate New York is under deep winter...hopefully the winter express has a lot of diesel left in the tank for a nice run right up to March 21st, then spring ahead!

The Central Square school district covers a huge amount of real estate from Hastings to the north to Brewerton to the south. Believe me we didn’t get enough snow here to close schools. I doubt they even got enough up north especially with a LE ratio of 32.5:1.

.NEAR TERM /THROUGH TONIGHT/...
Lake effect snow east/southeast of Lake Ontario has remained
relatively disorganized through the night thus far. This might be
changing shortly as recent radar trends showing signs of a
single plume structure developing just offshore of the south
shore of Lake Ontario coincident with strengthening lake breeze
circulations. Timing looks to be consistent with several higher
resolution models suggesting a strengthening single band
between 09z and 15z focusing on the southeast corner of Lake
Ontario. The lake effect snow should reach peak intensity during
this time period, with snowfall rates of 2" per hour possible.
The band of snow will then move back north and east across
Oswego County later this morning through the afternoon and
likely weaken as shear profiles increase. A weaker band of snow
may get as far north as southern Jefferson County late this
afternoon and early this evening.

A weak trough axis will then move southeast across Lake Ontario to
night. The band of snow should intensify as convergence increases
along the trough axis, with a band of heavy snow moving south across
Oswego County and back towards far northern Cayuga County. The
single band of snow will then break up into a larger spray of
multiple bands and snow showers southeast of Lake Ontario before
daybreak Thursday, with minor accumulations spread from Orleans to
Oswego counties and inland across the western Finger Lakes. This may
bring some minor accumulations to the Rochester area just in time
for the Thursday morning commute

Up to 6.25" here as the band is starting to weaken..

It’s actually sinking south a bit over the lake. We’ll see if there’s any implication for my area.

Back when I lived in a neighborhood I always did my block sidewalk and my elderly neighbors door walk. I met her for the first time after living there for 7 years the day we were moving out because she wanted to thank me for snow blowing her walk all those years lol.

No sir..I'm about a couple miles from there..I used to work right across the street at the Fulton group lol

I'm not even sure if it's considered the"dot" but it's where they keep most of their sand, salt and some of their trucks..

It's on the outskirts of the village..
