It may very well end up being weaker, but it is to early to say the GFS is folding. Lots can happen over the next two days.

Mike, a belated Happy Weatherperson's day! Did ya get the day off today since it fell on a Sunday :o?

I'm hoping the storm lags just a little with the cold front moving a little farther south and east. The track seems not bad from this distance even with the variations.

Consider the NAM is likely a hundred miles too far north we look good right now.
