Sunday 6/5 warm front and triple point low

Recommended Posts

Still light rain here. Thinking the warm front may have stalled overhead as showers continue to back build here.

I'm down in the northern Philly burbs today.  Mix of clouds and sun and now in the 80s.  Hope the clearing makes it up your way soon.

I think the problem for Northern areas is that the cold front is already approaching. Proximity to the triple point is too close.

Storms are already initiating near Harrisburg. That may not be the main show. Models yesterday were showing multiple lines but seemed to have backed off that idea.

Can't believe many are reporting clearing, really wish it would get here. Still cloudy, cool, and showering on and off here.

4k NAM, RGEM and HRRR all do a split with NYC proper getting the shaft. Storms go North of 80 and then into Central and Southern NJ.

going to use the term bust so far.

Really nothing. Forecast was for 2 events as of yesterday.

A morning and afternoon.

Morning event was a huge bustorama in my town.

Socked in here with low clouds, fog, drizzle. Warm front is stalled. Severe likely canceled.

68/67 with SE winds still in extreme SE Sussex County, NJ.  0.41" overnight and this morning, severe threat diminishing by the minute as warm front refuses to come through.

Yeah the southern part of the line looks pretty good

From Harrisburg to BWI looks pretty good. I think we are skunked here now with the overcast hanging on
