But the synoptics going in look like soupy dps on southerly flow of marine, indirect temp muting, and that's not usually going on with that type of thing. A pretty decent soaking going on this morning, RN+, .64" Wow--7 minutes after the above edit, and I'm now at 1.00", RN+ continues. Edit a couple minutes later. Buy one of the Stratus Rain Gauges as a backup (the CoCoRAHS recommended ones). They are like $30 or so I think when I bought mine. You'll have it for years and years. Bring a toothpick outside and do a bird poop check. Usually that isn't a problem during rain, but if you had a lull maybe it was dry enough for a clogging.
