It's not that they're morons, they were burned last year when they had to shut the LIE for days when cars got stuck. They do not want a repeat of that this year. Plain and simple. The forecast for Albany was for 8-9 degrees now and it's 2.It will interesting to see if we can get down closer to 10 degrees in NYC to LI while it's still snowing tomorrow morning.
