GFS is showing 2M temps nearly 30F above normal with 850s about +2.5SDs by Sunday. Impressive warmth.

The record at BDL for Sunday is 59F set back in 1990 which is quite vulnerable.

The warmest temperature so late in the season is a remarkable 74F on 12/29/1984!!!

Already the warmth is overperforming down this way... up to 48F in my backyard. 6z GFS MOS had 44F at BDL today.

But what does your warm area have to do with BDL and GFS mos? I could see them get to 45 or 46 maybe . But nothing is really over performing

I should have specified HFD.

We'll have no problem tickling 50 here while MOS kept us in the mid 40s.

Embrace the melt, Kev!

Nothing we can do to stop it , but I'm already looking forward to the below normal cold and storminess returning early next week. For those folks like yourself who enjoy warm weather and green grass and mud near the holidays the next 2 days are for you!! Get after it
