why would anyone want to be in it? Nuts

Beacuse everytime we have a chance at snow or severe weather it skips over the Lexington area that I'm at.  It's like a cursed land.  It's been a very long time since I've seen anything much.  The last time was Aug 16th 1994.  2 Twisters hit in Lexington where I was out there.. but was too young to understand.  I don't hope for any injuries etc, but yeah.

Greg,

It is good to hear you and your family are ok though sad what happened nearby, of course. Wow!

In Dunwoody, I had a quick thunderstorm at 2:30 PM-2:45 PM that produced very heavy rains and gusty winds. Heard only a few rumbles of thunder.

Not too bad..which is fine as I didn't want any tornadoes too close.

Thanks Larry. The pucker factor was certainly on the high side. I would have loved to have some of that "boring" weather that Shawn complained about. I bet there is a couple of thousand folks around here that would love them some boring right now.

Glad you & the fam are safe! Thoughts & prayers to those that were less fortunate.

Wow!  Lots of water there, Don.  Did you take those flicks?  Thanks for sharing the videos.

Wish I was out & about but, they are not mine. We haven't had crazy precip amounts it just came really quick & the ground is just totally saturated! At my location 1.26" in about the last 3 hrs & 6.03" for the month. We average around 36" per year!
