It could be good on paper, but it's not a slam dunk. If it doesn't work out I have a few thoughts as to why, but I'll let it play out. It's possible it may be confined further south near the shore line.

I'm not saying severe either...just talking about tstms in general.

I'd still put the best shot at severe, south of most of the area. Your area and points S&W.

Yeah I'd say even NYC south for now. All that cirrus coming up is not helping either. We are in an area of weak height rises and sort of in between systems. The better dynamics are further sw and won't come in until early evening.

I kind of see a genral line of storms coming together across the area as the front rolls through but where the best forcing is along the S coast and mostly down in SW CT is where I see the best chance at any severe cells popping up. PWATs are pretty high for a few of usm so we definitely run the risk of torrential downpours.
