LMAO- we are getting rocked! how much rain do you think we've had today another 2-3"

2.25" IMBY 'cross the Suskie from you. Ouch - anyone got updates on the month/year for Hbg? I know KMDT reading will be actually lower than what we've seen on the 1st mtn ridge north of the city.

Insane.

That was ridiculous. I work in Fredericksburg and was not sure I'd make it home. Had to turn around twice and take different routes due to 1-2' of rushing water on the road...still ended up going through some I probably shouldn't have. Insanity. "Only" about an inch here north of Myerstown, but still enough to make our driveway a muddy mess for about the 5th time this month.

Insane rain the past half hour. Roads are flooding.

As before, post your predicted lowest METAR reading for this cold snap. Also post your closest METAR low reading.

Closest- KMUI with a low of 40F Sat night

Lowest- KBFD with a low of 35F Sat night

The thing to watch will be what dew point temperatures are going into the weekend. If dew point temperatures do not fall as low as MOS is forecasting due to very damp soil with all of this recent rain, it will be hard for overnight lows to crash. GFS has it get pretty breezy too so if that were to actually play out then with a non calm-clear-dry night temps will not fall quite as low.

1.68" so far today...hopefully that will be the final total...ugh. 17.63" for the month, by far the wettest month we've recorded since my parents moved here in 1984, and likely within 2-3" of June 1972.

Yesterdays storm (afternoon) a house got struck by lightning in Lower Allen Township. It also hit a landscappers truck parked out front of the house with the workers inside. Cracked the windshield, engaged the air bag and left divots in the street.
