Here's the updated CTP map. Couple things.. a lot of 6+ (yellow) in Lancaster county, the 10+ that was in southern somerset has been replaced to 4-6 and things have been bumped up a few inches overall in places like Huntingdon and Altoona. Pretty much a hat tip to the newer, further north NAM and the HRRR models involving the second tier of counties in some of the heaviest precip. Heck of a gradient between State College and Altoona tho, hopefully it wont be that stark.. but that dry air is hanging tight still.

I see no 6" amounts on that map...are you looking at something different?

Still just flurries here...what is going on?

Should be getting going very shortly, Looks like some good echoes just got overhead. Yorks a hard area with these things to get a good bearing on radar as CCX, DIX, and LWX's beam can be a bit too high and see virga. LWX (Sterling, VA) radar's probably a lil better.

Looks that way, just started here maybe 5 minutes ago. Should really stick everywhere too, 20° on the nose.

yep same here....started about 1/2hr. ago

3.4" now.. heavy snow falling. Good breeze going too. Temps have fallen to 23.2ºF

.8" here, that's about an inch an hour. 1/2 mile vis, 19.0. Wind gusty at times, blowing it around. Pics coming.
