Good morning everyone! Interesting radar...

Looking at the 6-hour precip. on the 00z models, it appears that the QPF from the models are not north enough compared to the radar. Rain and snow up into the middle of Indiana and Ohio, which on the models was supposed to be a decent distance further south. The southern edge of the ULL precip. is looking good so far.

I noticed that too and I don't like it

Substantial light snow has just started with visibility dropping and Capitol Building 5 miles away disappearing. Traffic cameras show some accumulations now south of town.

I wouldn't be surprised to see DCA report SN next hour as were getting some nice rates; already getting accumulations here.
